Surprised!

This router has improved my tv viewing much more than expected. I recently lowered my services and speed from xfinity expecting my viewing to be less. After installing this modem, I was surprised to get a much better and quicker response from lesser speed through the xfinity app. I was amazed and am happy to own my own modem!

Really good but could be better

Purchased this when I cut the cable with xfinity for tv and phone. Prior xfinity modem was linked to me older Orbi RB850 mesh. Thought for sure that download speed would be faster than the orbi mesh. It was not for both devices side by side. Essentially half, too bad. Great otherwise as the Orbi mesh makes up for this. Some tech person can explain why. I’m just an engineer and not a network designer.
So kudos to netgear support who three way called me to xfinity when they messed up my change deleting their router.

modem replacement

I wanted to replace our rented modem and decided to buy the Netgear. I am very satisfied with the operation and setup. I spoke with a Spectrum/charter tech and they had it set up in minutes. The only thing I am disappointed in is that I am unable to apply firmware updates. Overall very happy, thanks.

Super simple to setup. Takes a little time but the steps were straightforward. Once setup I have internet access from just one device. Definitely recommend this combo router/modem!

I was tired of paying add on fees for rent the router for my internet service provider so I decided to check for what options might be out there that I can buy at an affordable cost. I always knew that Netgear brand to be highly reliable as I have used them in the past so I was delighted to get this one at a pretty good price here. Truely affordability meets quality, iam in love with this router as it suits my needs perfectly, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable router.
