Best Cable Router Period

I had a cable router from my cable provider but it was a dead zone upstairs in my 2 story townhome. I didn’t think anything could be done but I thought I’d take a chance on Netgear. I bought the Nighthawk and downloaded the app to my phone. I set a guest password and programmed what I wanted in. It took 10 minutes. It works! I have signal throughout the house and can access the app anytime to see who’s on. It’s really a great product.

Outdated technology but reliable.

No docsis 3.1 modem. No wifi 6 router. For slower service provider plans it works really well though.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk Cable Modem Router is great. It is easy to setup with the app once you have your internet setup. I definitely recommend it.

Received a faulty charger, but terrific device!

The Modem Router is set up and has been in use for a day, I can already tell my apartment's service is faster and will be more appropriate for classes and work video calls. My only comment is that it did take a call to technical support services and then my own guess work to figure out that the device's charger was broken. I was worried at first that I had a faulty modem router because no matter how much I was sure the outlet was working, my device did not light up, but that is not the case. I will need to find a new charger that works in the future, but for now I thankfully was able to use the old router's charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!
