The new modem router has been great. We haven’t had a single issue or time when it has gone down. Our WiFi is fast and allows two people to work from home simultaneously.

I have only used the Nighthawk for a short time but it works well and no complaints so far. It bought it to replace an earlier NetGear router because Xfinity offered a faster speed that the earlier router could handle.

New modem/router

Wanted to stop paying rental fees on modem/router combo and did my research this was the most reliable I could find. So far it's been going for a week with no issues can even tell a difference between this and Xfinity's gateway

Very hard to hook up

First, I tried to hook up the modem myself without any success. Since I had to take the old router back to Xfinity when I talked to them, they said they could help me. I went home, got the router and brought it to them. They entered a few things and said when I get home, it should be no problem hooking it up. Oh when I got home, it still would not hook up so I talked to one of your agents and we had to spend about 45 minutes on the phone trying to get it to up. We finally got it working.

Finally upgraded my modem/router combo and WOW, what a difference it has made on all devices. Streaming is now a pleasurable experience. The NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 was a breeze to set up and it's working great!
