Does the job with problem dog fur shedding!!!

Received the Rocket Pro DLX 2 days ago...tried it out today! VERY PLEASED with the results. We live with 3 long-haired dogs...a Border Collie, a Long-haired Daschshund X Nova Scotia Duck Toller X Chow Chow and a Mini-Aussie X American Eskimo. The fur from the Mini-Aussie X American Eskim is Super Soft and Ultra Fine...and very difficult for any vacuum to pick up effectively. Our old Shark Navigator NV 650 True Pet does a good job of it...on par with our Riccar Upright and Meile Canister Vac with Power Head. Our cordless Ion Duo does OK; but battery power on MAX power is limited. We wanted something for our small sunroom (168 square feet) that we could use daily for keeping shed fur in check...the Mini-Aussie X American Eskimo is a rescue with significant "challenges"...and he has an extra-extra large ex-pen with attached crate in that room...and he and my wife, who has dementia, spend quite a bit of time there. The Rocket Pro DLX is the perfect little vacuum for the job!!!

Very convenient design and good power

I bought this to replace the same item that had a broken mother board. The mother board got broken because it fell to the floor because it won't stand up on its own. That is the only problem, in my opinion, with this vacuum. No matter what I lean it against it will eventually fall over. They have added a hook (near the bottom of the machine so it hangs upside down???) That helps store it. The power is very good and I love that a forward facing light is built into the main housing so that with any attachment or configuration you use you still have light. The floor attachment is a little narrower than the older model.

I have been reading reviews before I purchase a stick vacuum. I notice that the majority of the reviews have "Received Free". Does that mean you got a free vacuum? I like free.

I received this purchase in December. Does it work better than my last vacuum? Yes! The biggest pro is the suction! Other pros are it is gentle enough to use on hardwood without the fear of scratching, visual appealing design, the numerous attachments the unit came with, and the while unit is easy to clean. However, I do believe it is flawed. My biggest disappointment is this vacuum, fully assembled, cannot stand upright on it's own- it has to lean on something. While this may work for most people, it is just plain annoying to me. I also dislike how top-heavy the unit is, the cannister is small, and the roller gets clogged with hair too easily (I've never had to clean a roller in any vacuum this much!). I have 3 large short haired dogs and I vacuum often. Unfortunately this vacuum does not meet my needs. I should have returned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shark never disappoints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Shark Rocket! It's not my first Shark product and I'm never disappointed in their products. It's so lightweight and easy to maneuver. Have stairs? The Rocket can easily transform into a handheld vacuum making it my go to for curtains, baseboards and even my car. It's my favorite feature.
Has amazing suction power to tackle the dirt so efficiently.

Easy to handle,easy to clean,and works very well on all surfaces.The removable handheld is a great feature for doing the stairs ,furniture,or your vehicle.The waste cup is small but the addition of the extra tools makes it a good replacement for a larger vacuum.This vacuum also has a very good swiveling head to get into tight areas,under chairs and right up next to things.The suction power is very good and it does a good job picking up pet hair as well.Thanks for a great product!
