Just an OK vacuum

Bought this back in April and thought I’d grow to love it but honestly it’s bulky, heavy and hard to handle. I always wonder how much user testing they actually did as the design needs improvement. The suction is just ok and doesn’t do well with pet hair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy with my shark. It was a slightly different model from the one it replaced, which I had for 10 years. it is very lightweight with a very long cord, which is helpful. The attachments from my last shark as well as the extra bear floor head. I had all fit this one which was great. I am a shark fan!
This vacuum is great. It’s excellent on not hard floors and carpet. Easy to use with the self propelled head. My only complaint is that it’s very loud. A very high pitched noise that makes you want to wear ear protection
I have way too much hardwood in my house and two dogs. It was hard to decide, but I needed something fast. And they had this available at Walmart. I had narrowed it down to this one and another model that was a bit more money. Boy and I glad I got this. This thing is so powerful that while I was vacuuming near my sliding glass door, it literally vacuumed up my curtain, which was almost 2 feet away. It’s STRONG! While I do wish the wheels were a little bit more quieter on the wood, I’m not gonna complain. Because it did as a job and that’s all I needed.
Sometimes you just don’t need to fix what’s not broken
I have used the rocket pro for 4 years now and love the model. It is the best lightweight vacuum that doesn't cause a lot of back pain and fatigue, it has a long reach, and actually does swivel around to get in hard to reach areas, super easy to use the hose, and the lights make dirt highly visible you wouldn't otherwise see.Now the reason I'm shopping: this is the THIRD shark in 3 years that has become useless because if a poor quality design flaw. The cord comes off the back top, which causes it to move and twist as you vacuum. Soon the plastic cover rips, then the cords break, and you are stuck with a useless vacuum. Like I said this is my THIRD. I should have double wrapped it in electrical tape I suppose, but this last one has a more sturdy looking casing, it didn't matter, the plastic simply tore under the thicker casing. Shark is going to have to design it to come out of the bottom of the motor instead of the top .
