I've spent years- DECADES- cussing at the HEAVY vacs I have had - lugging those stupid unwieldy monsters up my narrow steep steps in our home built in the 1860's. OMG do you know how mortified I am that I sniggered at other reviewers claiming they love their Bissell vacs? Why was I so narrow minded??? Now I get it! I mean I still HATE vacuuming but hey, this model gets the job done - sucks up all the cat hair and also all the gardening debris tracked in on the carpeted stairs and best of all no cracking my foot when those other machines would fall down the stairs on me. Thank you so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is fine for a very small apartment. I love the flexibility of becoming a dustbuster too. The cord is short, and that's okay in a small place. The vacuum width is narrow. The suction is GREAT. The ONLY frustration I have is that I can't seem to buy an extra cup filter. Even Bissell web site doesn't have them. So I just bought a new vacuum instead. Because the filter gets so dusty, I'd like a spare so I can alternate as I wash one.

My career as an ICU nurse has done a real number on my back and this makes cleaning up after My golden retriever so much easier. My ONLY issue is the short little cord, but that's ok because the small size and big suction totally make up for it!
