[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this primarily to handle the constant tumbleweeds of dog air and tracked in sand on tile and wooden floors. I have a central vac and a standard floor model, both too heavy to be convenient. The Bissell Featherweight really is very lightweight. It does a great job on the bare floors and is good on the short pile rugs where we were told not to use a beater type vacuum. I am hopeless mechanically, but this is easy to take apart and put together,,easy to go from floor model to hand model and works in both forms. We had a problem with delivery, but the Customer Service rep was very helpful and the problem was taken care of expeditiously. This may be used as a sweepstakes entry...

Probably would need something a bit better for a bigger space! Suction could be a little better but honestly for the price I would definitely buy it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is, as the name implies, a lightweight vacuum meant for light pick ups. I have two now. One on each floor. Use daily after hair blowout and a quick pick up around house. (Have a cat!) Have hardwood throughout house so this works. Do not think it is strong enough for vacuuming carpets. For furniture, etc. I use my Electrolux. Seems like a toy and probably would not hold up to rough handling but used as meant seems to do very well. Filter is small and should be cleaned after each use. Easily done. I wash every two uses. There does not seem to be extra available filters for the first one I bought (2030). The extra filters I bought do fit the newer model 2033. If you buy this vacuum buy extra filters at same time. Will encourage routine filter change and wash which I am sure will prolong the life of vacuum.
