[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this lightweight but worthless vacuum on carpet and flooring in a small (796 sq ft) apartment. The vacuum must be cleaned out several times during each vacuum because once it get dirty inside, it will not pick up anything! And once I clean the vacuum, it barely picks up anything. I have only had it a short while and use it about once a week. I bought it because it was small, lightweight and inexpensive. I also needed one that would not be hard on my back. I think I am expecting too much! It just does not do the job I need. My apt is not dirty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry you're not happy with the vacuum, Linda. The Featherweight doesn't have a brush roll for carpet and works best on hard floors.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed because it does not take out all the hair/dirt in my carpet. I have a baby so I need it clean but this is only good for light cleaning also it doesn't work on hardwood floor.

Hi Reeha. This vacuum works best on hard floors as it doesn't have a brush roll in the foot for carpet.

Perfect as a childs play vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this primarily for hardwoods, two (low-medium pile rugs) and light vacuuming in my car. Terrible on each surface!! it MIGHT pick up a few random hairs of small things off the hardwoods but, thats a maybe, at best. I even spilled dry rice down to test it and, nada! This vacuum is perfect as a toddlers first vacuum to play with because the suction is not strong at all. The attachment tools make it even worse. Would not recommend
