Hi Marsha. The FeatherWeight works best on hard floors. If you're vacuuming carpet, you'll want a machine with a spinning brush. Hope this helps!

Gets tons of abuse in the workshop but never stops working. Picks up all kinds of stuff. The house I use for quick pickup of kitty litter and dog and cat hair. Light weight. Long cord. Easy to empty and easy to change filter.
