Fully capable MB, and the features for a mid to high level performance, plenty of M2 and PCI slots. Mine was the AMD 5 version, and plenty headroom for long term upgrades and expansion. Started right up. Is has a Flash BIOS upgrade that is very simple to use. And the software apps that are available help monitor performance, add tweaks and install AI tools. I would avoid the Armoury Crate app, it is essentially redundant and simply bloatware. This mostly a PC for art and photo editing, not some for gaming.

I got this for a build to make a new workstation. I was attracted by the chipset and the ample PCIe and M2 slots. I had everything working on a different motherboard before I made the switch. After hooking up the new mobo, I can't even get any POST or BIOS to display. I am going to try as much troubleshooting as I can, but this is a disaster right out of the box for me. ASUS has never been very helpful to me in terms of support for their products. I might have just received a bad board.

Dear William A.,
Thank you for reaching out.
We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if the motherboard is not booting up. If all hardware came from a working system, check if these are compatible with the motherboard and are installed properly. No boot or no POST can either be any of the hardware (CPU, RAM, PSU), installed on the motherboard, including the motherboard itself. We recommend testing the motherboard outside the case to determine if all the hardware is correctly installed. Additionally, we recommend clearing the CMOS every component change or installation. Should you need further assistance with the product, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Or you are most welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent from the link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/1135/.
Thank you for choosing an ASUS product.
Regards,
