Seems pretty beefy- I have our 53 inch tv on it and it isn't bending. Swivels nicely with no issues.

Love this TV mount. We use it for a monitor also and we can swing it out so hubby can use it on the other side of the desk. VERY sturdy and plan to get another one for his music room monitor / tv.
