Great concept but not for toddlers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when these paint pens arrived. My toddler loves to use glue sticks and the paint pens have a similar feel. When we first opened the package the colors were bright and the “pens” were easy to use. The colors showed up well on paper and foam paper. Unfortunately, the paint was very soft and my toddler kept pressing too hard, causing the paint pen to spill over to the side and become difficult to use.
I think these would be great for older kids. I will definitely try them again when my kiddo is older.

Bright Colors and No Mess!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of 2 children ages 6 and 10 and we love the washable paint sticks by Crayola. We have a pack of 6 colors and it includes : red, green, blue, purple, orange and yellow. The paint sticks are about the size of a standard glue stick and the mechanics are similar. The sticks are easy for children to hold. The colors are bright and the paint dries really fast. We used standard paper for our drawings and we did not experience any bleeding through. These feel as though you are using a crayon but they are paint! These are mess free! We would definitely love to pick up some more color varieties in the future. Highly Satisfied.

Kids love these but they don't last long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we all know kids get over excited and heavy-handed when it comes to coloring, painting and drawing. My kids got to play with these for one evening and they were done for. They broke down really easily and I would strongly suggest these for an older child for maybe an art project or something of the like. I am super glad that they are washable as both children needed a bath after playing and it came off easily and washed off my floors and walls without issue (also out of my sheets, so thank you crayola).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recieved these last week and let me tell you they are magnificent! I love how well they work and the kids love them as well because they're so much fun to draw and paint with! They wash off easily and now when I'm using my expensive acrylic paints I dont have to worry about the kids wanting to paint and use up all the expensive paints, now I can just pull these paint sticks out and they can go to town! The only thing that I can see being an issue is the fact that we can't really mix the colors to .are other colors but either way they're so much fun and so worth it! I definitely recommend!

Vibrant colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual for my experience with Crayola products, the colors are incredibly bright/vibrant. I don't LOVE this design for paint sticks though. If you were only wanting to paint blocks of colors, they're fine. But my kids love painting rocks and designs and they're too chunky for that. More reminded me of trying to paint with a glue stick or a tube of lipstick. Definitely love the less mess for my 3 year old though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we really loved these paint sticks!! Not only was the glue stick design(roll up and down) a huge hit but the products were fun to use. My daughter the budding artist tried them out right away and the colors blew us away. Super vibrant and the quick dry paint concept is wonderful. We have had such fun using these and the only issue we saw was you can't do fine line detail due to the larger stick design but they are great for larger scale projects!

We have never tried a product like this one before and it works great! It comes in a pack of 6 with 6 different colors! The kids really enjoy using them! I would recommend this product to anyone!

Paint does not come off hands!!!

I bought the Washable paint sticks for my 2 yr.old grandson. Paints are easy to use, BUT the paint does not come off his skin easily at all!!! I tried many times lots of soap and water, baby wipes, Simply green, and finally diluted Fantastic. He still has blue hands after 2 hrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although Crayola washable products are water-based and designed to wash from skin and nearly all children's clothing, the dyes and pigments included in Crayola washable products react differently to various skin types, depending on a person's body chemistry. Normally, Crayola washable products can be removed from the skin by washing with soap and water. If you are unsuccessful with soap and water, try using baby wipes, baby oil or make-up remover. Since Crayola washable products are water-based, you may find that keeping the area moist with water will help to lift the stain.
