I bought this suitcase because I needed an additional suitcase for family gifts while on vacation. When packed it was at 37 pounds. Well, while in route from Salt Lake City to Milwaukee the main zipper broke and my gifts were slipping out. Luckily nothing was lost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Suitcase

I bought this suitcase right before I left on an 11-day air trip to Canada. It held all my items for the trip and fit easily into the carryon space on the planes. I had 3 different planes to take on each travel day for this trip and the suitcase was easy to move from one gate and/or terminal to another. I was very happy with the suitcase.

This was our first purchase of luggage in more than 15 years. We were traveling to Canada by bus, changing hotels 3 times in 5 days. The new AM Tourister pieces were fabulous the entire trip.

Great Carry-On for business trips

Great Carry-On. Sturdy, comfortable. Enough space for 3 to 4 day business trips. Has 4 360^ wheels that make it easy to move. Has out side packet for my magazines and books and an adiitional smaller outer pocket for my prescriptions.

The suitcase works for quick trips when you only need to carry on a bag. I was pleased at how well the bag fit in the overhead compartment. You may want to consider a lock in case you need one.
