[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folds up small enough that it's easily put away without taking up to much space. It's very sturdy and durable feeling. It has an area for your hands that is rather nice to have when your out on the water for long periods of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a few kayaks and this is a very solid paddle. It has good build quality and moved water very easily and felt light at the same time. The materials feel very nice and it was a very comfortable kayak experience.

Good portable paddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a one-piece kayak paddle, so I was dedicated to try this aluminum paddle that could be taken apart for travel easily. The paddle itself is all aluminum with the exception of the rubber grips on the shaft and the plastic blades. I began assembly by spending about 15 minutes taking off thick plastic wrapper that covered the entirety of all three pieces of the shaft. I found this plastic excessive, unnecessary, not eco friendly. The pieces were already in a plastic bag to keep them safe from the elements. Once I got the plastic wrapper off, the paddle itself went together in about a minute. Easy peasy! It even had little plastic pieces near the blades to keep the water from running down the handle, which I appreciated. I then took the paddle out with me on a short kayak ride on a lake on a very windy day. The paddle seemed a little flimsy when I was trying to use it to push myself out into the lake, so I was a bit skeptical. Once I got out there and started paddling, though, the paddle’s blades glided through the water with ease, even in the face of a strong headwind. It felt sturdy enough to power me through the water just as the more expensive, heavier paddles I’ve used. Overall, I was pleased with this paddle and enjoy the fact that it is easily taken apart and put together for transport, unlike a traditional paddle.
