QN80FD Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV (2025)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me say that I bought this to replace a dead 2019 Q80. I thought I would be getting a comparable TV, but no. The screen is very reflective compared to my former set. The user interface is needlessly busy. You cannot access a complete app store, so app selection is sorely lacking (again, compared to my old tv). For example, when searching for my local TV station’s app, I get Youtube videos in the results. What is the purpose of a smart TV if you can’t get the apps you want? I want to watch what I want to watch, not Samsung TV Plus or the apps that paid Samsung for placement. No one has cable anymore so app selection is key. For the amount I paid, I believed it would be a more versatile device. I would not purchase another Samsung TV.

Lighting conditions vary from room to room, and reflections may be more noticeable depending on placement and ambient light. For optimal glare control, we recommend positioning the TV to minimize direct light on the screen or consulting with a professional installer for best placement.
Samsung’s Glare Free technology, engineered to minimize reflections from ambient light, is available on the QN90FD Neo QLED 4K and higher. Anti Reflection is also featured starting with the S85FD OLED and up.
To help you get the most from your TV, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website, then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your xxx TV model to view or download the available guides.
The e-Manual & User Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides.
Your TV includes Learn Menu Screen, an accessibility feature that provides audio guidance for on-screen menus. When enabled, your TV will announce the name and function of each menu item as you scroll, without making any changes. This feature is particularly helpful for users who are visually impaired or new to Smart TV menus. To enable, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn Menu Screen. To exit, press the Return key twice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only have had it a couple day so far but it's been wonderful. Starting with the great packaging that made transport and set up easy. Still requires two people but it was easy with the two. Set up was real simple and the navigation to get going was intuitive. Still learning my way around all the features but once you get it it's easy to navigate. Love the simple remote.
