I like the Otterbox (have others in past) with the exception of the cheap stand that sticks in one position. The stand is useless and makes any future Otterbox purchase unlikely.

The stand case came apart on the first day, it popped out of where it’s supposed to be, I put it back in and hide to tighten it so the part stayed put. The plastic part where the pencil can go also came off, that one broke off and can’t be put back in. It feels sturdy, it should survive a fall but other than those flimsy parts the case itself is good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm always impressed with how robust the protection is on these cases but they also need to be functional. I work on construction sites and I need to be able to clip the cover to the back of the case when I'm on a job site. The problem I'm having is that I can't keep my Apple Pencil attached to the charging patch on the ipad with the cover clipped to the back. This, without the clear screen protector lifting off the screen. This is my second Defender case and I didn't have this problem with my last iPad Air. I'm hoping OtterBox will fix this issue for my new iPad Pro and send me a new one.

Stand portion of the otterbox broke within the first week. Its design & materials were very inferior to the remainder of the case. Case itself appears to be well made & should provide adequate protection for the rather fragile iPad Pro. Now all I need to do is find a stand that will work with this case.

I like the case seems durable and will protect your iPad. The snap on front which doubles as the stand seems flimsy and does not easily lock into one position without fiddling with it. Overall the case does what it’s supposed to do. I really wish it came in more colors ridiculous that it only comes in black. Why?
