Extremely sharp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For about a week, then very dull and useless. These are poorly packaged and include no knife guards. This should come with the sharpener for the price, or at least be made better. These are balanced well, if a little heavy and are easy to handle. No awkward hand motions. I think with proper sharpening and maintenance these knives could last a long time.

Ninja Knife Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Foodi Never Dull chef knife is made with German stainless steel they look and feel similar to the Wustof brand with a few differences, It has 2 rivets as opposed to the 3. The Ninja has a half bolster and full tang. It is balanced and ergonomic. Personally l like it quite a bit more because it is lighter. It is heavier than the Global but the Ninja has a rounder grip is better suited for my larger hand. It holds its sharpness as well as any other high quality knife. The Santoku is a great little knife at 5 inch. It’s fun to hold and super sharp. First time owning this style and I love it. Tested out on sushi this weekend and it was a joy. I will be using this one daily. Food slide right off the hollowed edge. Was able to cut really thin and delicate. This set would be an excellent choice for quality knife set and it would also make an impressive gift. It arrived packaged with knife tip guards.

Perfect Knives

These are seriously sharp, cutting a butternut squash in half to bake was no problem, also had a big prime beef that needed the fat trimed off before cooking, need I say it was so easy, the blade just slid through the meat, for once I didn't have to saw at these things. The feel of the knife in your hand is comfortable, just heavy enough to chop or cut but be careful, you can get cut and not even realize it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They weren’t what I had expected when I took them out of the packaging but I quickly became a fan.
Initially, I was impressed with their sharpness, the through tang and the balance of each blade (Chef & Santoku) but, I was not impressed with the finish of the blade. While some of the details are not as refined as what I consider ‘premium’ blades to feature, they were clearly better than entry level kitchen knives and the price point was appropriate for what you get.
After a few uses and washes, the knives seem to have a better appearance. (I know this does not make sense, maybe I just got used to them.) The contoured handle is easy to hold and orient the blade. The knives serve their intended purpose well. The chef knife has a long blade that is great at slicing. I was able to cut thin pita bread into very long, thin slices with clean lines. The Santoku knife is great for shopping and has a curved blade that lets you rock chop on the cutting board.
The edge out of the package seemed a little rough but was very sharp. I could cut thin, even, translucent slices of tomato. It will be a while before I need to sharpen them.
These are proven designs that work well in a kitchen setting. They could be better refined; the alignment and finish could be tweaked; but you can be proud that this knife set is better than the average person uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE everything Ninja so this 2 Piece German Stainless Steel Chef & Santoku Knife Set seemed right up my alley……..and it did not disappoint!! I sliced tomatoes thinner than I ever have lol ……. I butterflied chicken like a pro…..I trimmed the fat off of meat like a butcher!!!!! They wash nicely as well. Highly recommended

These knives will cut through anything and are very well made. I really like the weight and how the knife is designed. I want to buy more of them with a sharpener. I will be recommending them to family. Since the quality of these knives are so good they are a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my Ninja Foodi Never Dull knives. My first impression was I love the look and the weight was great for a quality knife. My husband is smoking ribs today. He used the knives to trim off excess fat and to cut through pieces of bone. I must say he also was impressed. Both knives cut straight through like butter. The weight and feel in your hand is just perfect. These knives totally live up to what I have come to expect from Ninja Foodi and I for one love them.
