This was very strong. It had a nasty chemical taste and burnt aftertaste. I like bold dark coffee but this was gross! I am throwing the rest away. I don't think cream can fix it even.

Hands down this is THE best decaf we have ever had! If you like a nice stromg cup of decaf then this is the one for you!!!!

The wife and I have been sampling several decafs for her. We both agreed this was the worst tasting of anything tried to date. Undrinkable. I had the regular Tulleys French Roast yesterday and it was fine. This was terrible. We both poured out our cups. Glad it was only a sample pack. I wouldn't serve this to anyone.

Too Bitter

I have liked most varieties that I have sampled. However, the French Roast Decaf is too bitter, too strong. In order to drink it, I added hot water to dilute it but it was still bitter. I will not reorder this variety.

I've been looking for a good French Roast since Kuerig took Green Mountain French Roast off the market. The aroma of this coffee is kind of neutral so I thought I had made a good choice. Then I tasted it. It has an aftertaste that reminds me of early attempts to produce decaf coffee. I won't be buying it again.
