Sensory way to practice forming numbers and shapes

My kindergartner loves the Numbers and Shapes Magnatab. He loves observing how magnets work and with this, he can enjoy doing that while practicing how to write his numbers and form basic shapes. Its size makes it portable / easy to carry wherever you go. There is a slot to keep the magnetic stylus tucked in to pack away nicely when not in use. Overall, a good tool to supplement number and shape formation / practice for young kids, or, if not as a learning tool, just something to play with and to simply observe how magnets work.

Playskool- The Original Magnatab Numbers & Shapes is an amazing way to multi-sensory learning. So easy to learn by following the arrows as your little one learns the correct way to draw shapes & numbers. By pulling up & pushing down , the magnetic stylus can guide, teach, & show how to advance learning. I love that you can hear the click as the stylus pulls up the magnets. Making learning fun is always a wonderful thing:) Highly recommend ~ Atticus is more inclined to practice:)

This Magnatab is so cool! The kids love the magnetic aspect of the pen and tiny balls, which I’m sure is unintentionally helping them learn to write numbers and draw shapes. This is perfect at home, on the go, or while waiting for siblings sport activities to finish up. We have been bringing this with us to several places. I think we’re going to try bringing it to the grocery store next! It keeps the kiddos occupied which is very helpful. I’m going to start using this in place of a tablet or phone!

Interactive learning tool

Great tool for young learners to learn to recognize and write numbers and shapes. The arrows along the numbers and shapes provide me with a guide as to the best way to teach him how to form the shapes and numbers. We practice on this board everyday; his tolerance for learning outside of school is very low. However, with this, possibly because it does not involve paper and pencil, we are able to work on this for about 5-7 minutes. He likes the satisfaction of pressing the magnets back down into the board at the end of our play time. If done with purpose, the releasing of the magnets can reinforce the work done because sometimes when he's pushing the magnets down, he's tracing over the work he's already done.
When not in use, the stylus fits snugly into its groove. The board is very lightweight and easily portable. We are visiting his younger cousin this weekend. I think it will be a bigger hit with him since he's a bit younger (4 years old) and is just learning to recognize numbers and shapes. This is a fun and engaging addition to our arsenal of learning tools; I think kids will like the magnet/stylus interaction.

Great preschooler activity

I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
This magnatab toy is perfect for my pre preschooler to begin working on fine motor skills! She loves using both the stylus and her finger to practice tracing shapes and numbers. The multi sensory experience is engaging and can incorporate both learning and independent play skills! My daughter loves the satisfying pop sound when the magnet beads fall back down into the tablet! Would definitely recommend for a toddler working on any of these skills!
