My Best Ecovac vacuum

I have been using Ecovac vacuum for past 5 years and X12 is the best so far. It deep cleans the hard strains and have better battery life. With Ecovac cleaning is the least thing I worry about daily.

I just upgraded to the X12 series of DeeBot and I can honestly say that I am not all that impressed with it like I was when I first purchased one years ago (X8). The idea and effort behind the unit is awesome and would help me out greatly, because I am disabled and cannot bend over or even mop a floor, but it never works consistently. I just bought the new unit and have already had so many issues with the mop tray that I am ready to send it back. Additionally just a note for future building of units. Please stop making so many little tiny spaces that can not be accessed to clean. All the nooks and crannies make it so hard to clean and maintain so it works properly. The app is not the most user friendly either. I would also suggest being able to change the name (yiko) to something else besides yiko. It is hard to pronounce correctly for the voice recognition to pick when I say the name.
When it does work properly it does a great job and is by leaps and bounds so much more quite than its predecessor. I can actually hear the TV while it is running. Sorry for the negative comments but I think they are necessary to improve the unit. I also want to make clear, I am not bashing the product. As I have said it is great, when it works correctly. I love not having to worry about cleaning the floors all the time either with the 3 dogs I have.

Robot that does it all

Got deebot x12 ominicyclone as part of trade in and have been extremely happy with it. It’s a robot that does it all and its AI mode ensures the clean is good. Jet function has been addressing toughest stain very easily. Highly recommend!

Upgraded to X12 from X8

I was supremely surprised the deal I received when upgrading to a newer model. The savings were too good to pass up. I’m happy with the new X12 ease of use with the bag less option. I opted for the 2 year extended warranty since my last X8 had numerous dirty water errors even after buying a replacement tank. I will give this newer unit a shot, hope my overlooking the last unit doesn’t bite me in the long run. Overall satisfied.

Much Better Then x8

This unit does far better cleaning with less streaking. The spray option really helps clean up dirty areas like a kitchen and or a dining room. Water tank could be bigger but it’s just something you have to think about especially if you do use the spray option a bunch. Too the X8 had an issue with while it was vacuuming it would just shut off the vacuum but keep going. Several folks have complained about it but so far this unit has not had the issue.

This is the best robot yet! I have been upgrading every year with ecovacs on their vacuums for almost 10 years. I schedule the robot and forget until I am notified to clean or replace. My floors are extremely clean after each session. I would highly recommend to any one seeking to clean and vacuum their floors extremely well.

I upgraded from the T30S to the DEEBOT X12 OMNI, and overall I'm very happy with the upgrade. The new bagless dust collection is a great feature, and the robot is noticeably quieter during operation. I also like that the clean and dirty water tanks are much easier to access, and the dock has a smaller footprint, making it fit better in my home. Obstacle avoidance also seems significantly improved, giving me more confidence to let it clean without worrying about it getting stuck.
My biggest area for improvement is the app. I'd like to see better mapping and continued software updates. It would also be great if the live camera mode allowed you to manually drive the robot to a specific dirty area for spot cleaning. If Ecovacs continues improving the software experience, the X12 OMNI would be an outstanding robot vacuum. Overall, I'm very pleased with the upgrade and look forward to future app improvements.

I was skeptical that the new roller system would be better than the spinning mops system that I had. But, The roller works great! It removes more dirt than The one I had with the spinning mop pads. I’m very pleased that I bought it. I can tell that it is removing more dirt from the floor because the dirty water is definitely dirtier than with the previous DEBOT.
