[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our very first Barbie. When she came, we were so excited to open her. After opening, my 3 year immediately began playing with her and having her watch Minnie Mouse together. We can't wait to add more Barbies to our collection.

Pretty barbie with long dark hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandaugther carrys this barbie around everywhere. I try to help her put the doll in some of the barbie vehicles we have laying around. She is a little difficult to fit in the cars with her outfit on. She really likes the hair and how it combs. The articulation of the arms and legs are a nice touch. The hearing aids are a great conversational piece and very smart on Mattels end. Overall, the figure was very well built.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A beautiful Deluxe Style Barbie with popping pink color and beautiful bows. Her detailed fabric clothing, articulated joints, and colorful accessories truly make her feel deluxe. My daughter was so excited seeing hearing aids on her ears, a unique accessory that opens a whole new world of play and imagination. This doll is exciting even as a parent seeing all her diversity. She comes with edges printed on, hearing aids, and is a mid-sized variant of your typical barbie doll. My daughter loves seeing the diversity of the world reflected in her dolls, so this has become one of her favorites.

Pink Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Deluxe Style #10 is an absolutely gorgeous doll. Her makeup is stunning without being too much (or too little), her hair invites play, and if you like pink, this outfit's got you covered. There are a few cute accessories, like her small purse with 'diamond' clasp, her pink bracelet, and her pink hairbow (which is plastic and unless you're super into hairplay, might be best to leave as is). The pocket on the skirt does open and you could fit in something very thin if you wanted, and the denim top is removable, meaning you get three pieces to this outfit. The real standout, aside from the doll herself, are the included tiny doll hearing aids that are in both ears and are absolute perfection. The one drawback for me is that the legs are oddly two-toned; the calf to ankle are shiny plastic, while the knee up and ankle down are a matte plastic. Not sure if time and play will dull the shine or what, but it is worth mentioning as something to keep an eye out for. That aside, this doll begs to be redressed and played with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Deluxe Style Was a hit. It was used after school for play and on the weekend. My daughter loves to style the long silky hair and her outfit in pink was a beautiful set with purse. Stylish earrings and bow and bracelet were too cute. Her pink boots made the outfit. Hours of fun with this one.

Another Great Representation of Diversity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the most notable elements of this beautiful Barbie Deluxe Style Fashion Doll #10 is her clear representation as someone who has cochlear implants. Mattel does a tremendously wonderful job of providing a variety of dolls that portray the diversity of the world around us. This is precisely what we, as parents, encourage and unquestionably want our children exposed to in positive ways. As our daughter has a friend, who has cochlear implants, this provides an ideal opportunity for her to incorporate her special qualities into playtime. She has even named the doll after her friend (which we find to be quite endearing)! Another benefit that was pointed out was the doll’s makeup, and how the outline of the lipstick is fresh and unlike any of the other dolls in our children’s collection. The outfit is also stylish, with the top serving as two, separate pieces. The entire outfit matches, along with the accessories, and this is appreciated (as there are times where color combinations are a bit questionable). While this was merely mentioned in passing (as it does not seem to have a negative impact on perception or playtime), there is a slight discoloration on the doll’s thighs, compared to the color on the rest of doll’s legs. Again, this was not believed to be a negative aspect, but it may be regarded as such by others. Quality and durability seem to be on par with other dolls of the same line, and we hope that both hold true as time persists. Overall, this is another great addition of adequate representation. Thank you, Mattel, for continuously promoting diversity for our children!
