Multiple Ways to Transform!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed this toy. He’s a big fan of Maui. He specifically liked how there were multiple ways to transform him . You can have him all Demi god , all shark , or half shark . Having multiple options made it so that he played with it longer . From a parent perspective , Maui is extremely well made . He’s high quality plastic and not flimsy, which means I don’t have to worry about it breaking . The only thing of note is that the shark parts stick together loosely so they come apart easily . It doesn’t take away from the fun of the toy , but it’s worth noting . The detail on Maui is extremely well done . His tattoos are intricate and his hair has great detail . Overall , this is a great quality toy that my son had a lot of fun playing with .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute idea for a Maui toy. It comes with Maui, the shark head and fin as well as Maui’s hook. It is easy to place the doll inside the components to assemble, but a younger child may become easily frustrated. It is smaller in size, but not too small. Overall, my child enjoys it - I only question how long it will hold their attention.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] He’s our favorite from the movies so glad we got this! Maui isn’t huge and bulky he’s the perfect size for kids hands. Love that it comes with the shark to “transform” into, it a great indoor outdoor toy any bath time!

Nice detailed toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the quality of this Maui toy overall. The plastic feels sturdy, and the details are well done — especially the tattoos, which are clearly visible and nicely painted. Even the hook has small notches, which adds a realistic touch. I also think the idea of putting the shark costume over Maui is fun and creative. However, there are a couple of downsides. I’m not a big fan of Maui’s pose — it feels a bit awkward and limits how you can play with the figure. Also, he can’t hold his hook on his own, which is disappointing. The hook only stays in place when attached to the shark piece, which takes away from independent play. Overall, it’s a nicely detailed toy with a fun concept, but a few design choices could have been better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shapeshifting Shark Maui toy! The details on Maui look really good and quality feels very sturdy. The best part is the transforming feature where you’re able to switch Maui from his regular form into the shark form. It even comes with Mauis hook! The only thing my kid wished was that the arms on Maui were able to move.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy for any Moana lover as it’s very fun!

Fun and versatile toy
