Status light too bright

I have 9 Kidde hardwired smoke and combination detectors and added a Ring connected detector. All is well except when installed in a bedroom. The status light is so bright, at night it lights up the whole room. I have to remove it. I wish there was a detector for a bedroom that didn't have a light unless it was alarming. Taping over the light doesn't work as the whole device "glows".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install.

I love it has backup batteries in case of a power outage which is a really good idea. I like design, and I tested the alarm it's a good alarm to get your attention in case of an emergency. The app is very easy to use, very user friendly easy to understand.
