built in obsolesences

Your machines are workhorses but we all know that the drum will burn out in a year or two and it will cost more for a drum replacement than the cost of a new printer. Not very ecologically friendly and makes me not think much of your company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Straightforward Design - Solid Functionality

Compact, flexible, and well built. Love the paper tray's quick, no-nonsense adaptability for envelopes and uncommon paper stock. This is a little workhorse! Great value to buy and even greater value to operate. For B&W printing, laser is the way to go. Thanks Brother!

Does the job economically

It was easy to set up on wi-fi and performed very well. The compact size fit comfortably into my home office and was quieter than my old laser monochrome printer. Over all a good value.
