I always buy classic roast medium blend, I can go through 3-4 pots of coffee on my own. Love the stuff.

greasy coffee

I have always drank Folgers classic roast, but the last 6 months my coffee gets very greasy looking. stuff floating on top the coffee. I still drink Folgers but I throw away a lot of coffee.

Best overall coffee blend! Quality and taste!!

My grandmother used to brew this same coffee. I am now a middle aged man and I have had all kinds of coffee from super expensive small batch custom roasted coffee to generic brands. I like a cup of coffee to get me going and a lot of the fancy arabica blends don't do much for me. This coffee tastes great and is well balanced but also has a nice boost of energy. It has the signature Folgers coffee taste but it is not overpowering.
I am not usually a fan of medium roast coffees but I really like this one. I actually bought this because they were out of stock of the Black Silk which has become one of my favorite coffees but I think this classic is going to be a regular part of my rotation. I like the french roast, black silk and now the classic. Really you can't go wrong with any Folgers blend.
The quality of Folgers coffee in general in my opinion has gone way up from the past making gourmet type coffees a nice thing to have once and a while but for my coffee drinking needs Folgers is it. If they can continue to deliver the smooth balanced taste, fresh roasted quality and decent price I will continue to be Folgers customer for a long time!!

Why does it feel stale?

I bought a classic roast 2 days back. To be honest, it doesn't taste like coffee at all. Its just dark, hot water. What's going on?

I am from a Folger's drinking family. My grandparents drank Folgers. I have been drinking Folgers since I was fifteen. I am now almost 70. This is the worst stuff I have ever drank! Please help. I wish to stay with Folgers , however you won't allow me to with coffee that tastes like this. We have sweet tasting well water, no chlorine. New coffee pot, still tastes terrible. From very unhappy customer.
