I’ve been drinking my favorite, Folgers Classic for many years. Suddenly about 4-6 months ago it changed. It now has a burned bitter taste. I’ve changed to another brand but I miss my old classic. Why did you change it?

Classic roast tastes awful

I’ve faithfully drank nothing but Folgers Classic Roast for years now, but it has changed in the past few months - no longer my enjoyable morning brew, it’s bitter and not as mellow as it used to be. I now have to experiment with other brands to find my new morning brew.

Worst coffee we’ve ever had.

My husband and I are big coffee drinkers and have tried and enjoyed many different brands. We bought Folgers coffee and it tastes like it was brewed in an ashtray. I say that as someone who doesn’t smoke but has smelt it, and my husband says that as someone who used to smoke. It’s 100% not our coffee maker, it’s the coffee itself. It’s disappointing to look at the big container of it knowing it’ll go to waste because it’s so terrible that there’s no way we can drink it all. We even tried adding coffee syrups and different flavoured powders to it to make it taste a little better, but it can’t be fixed. We already bought a different brand to drink.

Smell quality and taste has changed

I have noticed the quality has dropped I have been a foldgers classic coffee drinker most of my life I
Am a serious coffee drinker and loved it and lately I have not even finished my coffee I take to work the good quality coffee is not there I don't know what Thay have done but Thay need to put it back like thay used to do it
this makes the second container I have got that was not good sad to say if they don't bring the Folgers classic roast quality back like they have had it I am considering changing brands and I have always loved my Folgers classic coffee

What has changed in Folger classic coffee?

I have been drinking Folgers classic blend for over 20 years. The last canister I bought didn’t have that fresh aroma and smelled really rank. My husband, who is not a coffee drinker, even noticed and asked if I had switched brands and said the smell was horrible. The flavor is also harsh, not smooth like in the past. Stopped by the store today and bought another canister as well as the k cups. The new canister also had that rank smell. K cups have that harsh tasteWhat has changed?? Please go back to the original classic blend. If not, I’m going to have to find a new brand of coffee.
