Bitter taste now and smells like chemicals

I have been a loyal classic roast customer for decades. Recently though the coffee taste bitter and smells like chemicals when you first open it. I’m on my 3rd container now and it still tastes and smells awful. Please go back to how you have made it for years. I really don’t want to change to another brand however, I will have to if things don’t change. It is probably do to a cost cutting change. Doesn’t make sense to save money making a product and then losing customers because of said changes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife and I have been Folgers drinkers for decades. MY best part of waking up was when I got to pop the top of an unopened container of Folgers classic. Being from the country it reminded me of the musky smell of skunk. Now stay with me, from a distance ir is not entirely off putting. Could be an acquired taste. Lol
Lately the smell that I get from a new can is ash tray. Again, being a reformed smoker I unfortunately have some experience in this department as well.
It all boils down to smell and taste. The smell is no longer as robust and the taste is indeed weaker. Lesson: never mess with success.
As for us we are going with Chock full o' Nuts (dark, bold).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than all the rest

I used to use a Keurig for my coffee. Then it got expensive and then I switched to a regular coffee maker. When I switched to the regular coffee maker, I started off using Maxwell House. That stuff was horrible, I don't know what they did to their coffee. Needless to say, I decided to try Folger's. I didn't realize what I was missing after the first sip. From that day on, I will only drink Folger's. I don't even drink any of those fancy coffee house coffees or specially blended coffees. Just give me a good old cup of Folger's from the red can. Your coffee is the smoothest and easiest on the stomach. Keep up the great coffee work.

Motor Running

I get up in the morning. It just another day. Till I get my coffee brewing so I can get away. Gets my motor running so I can stay awake. I got to keep moving so I will not be late. You need that Folgers flavor. To have a perfect start It will make you happy and warm your heart

My Office Coffee

When I was working- I brought a coffee machine in to my office. Everyone used to come and get from my coffee, as it was Folgers, and much better than Company coffee. Thus not only was it and still is the best coffee but I had many, many friends
as I had supplied everyone with " The Best Coffee in the World " even the Co. bosses and owners. And to this day, retired, that is all we drink in my house. BUT- be sure to use good, clean, cold water. Do not start with hot water, for short cut, as this will pick up impurities from the house water line. The water one uses is important for the quality of the coffee.

Classic Roast.....the best coffee in the world.

I started drinking Folgers during WWII. As a small child of about 6, the only milk we could get with our ration stamps was powdered. The only way I could drink it without getting sick to my stomach, was to add a little Folgers. For me, there has never been another brand of coffee. We used to have a Folgers in my city until a couple of years ago. I loved going by it and smelling the aroma of the coffee as it was roasting. Folgers has been a part of my life for almost 70 years and will be for whatever time I have left. Thanks Folgers!

The best coffee EVER!!!!!

My family has been drinking Folgers coffee as far back in time as I remember. My husband and myself Love it's taste better than any we've ever tried. When we are traveling we always take a tub of our Folgers with us along with our electric coffee pot. Just have to have it at night and in the morning's!! It is very obvious that we are addicted. Folgers classic roast is the bomb in our book. Myself, I do endulge occasionally with the chocolate flavored.....l enjoy it to the fullest! If I could only get my husband to try it. He is just strictly a classic roast man. Thank you Folgers for such a great tasting coffee.
