Please return your Country Roast coffee back to the shelves!! It was a popular staple in my household, and have found nothing - not even in other brands - that compares to the soul soothing flavors found in your Country Roast coffee. Please, please bring it back!!

Considered changing brands

I have when available only ever drink Folgers Classic Roast, even in Iraq, I had it sent out to me so I could start my day with a good cup of coffee. Recently I have changed to the KCups and they are perfect, 1 Kcup, 10 oz of water, delicious. This morning I open a new box and immediately noticed the tops of the Kcup color was different and know the taste is differnet, I had one earlier that was the last from the old box and there is a distinct difference. I have dumped my second cup as the taste is the much of a difference. I am going to buy a new 32 count today and hope to find the old packaging or i will definitely consider change to another brand.

Used to be amazing—-now, not so much….

I grew up in a “Folgers Only” household and can spot the distinctive aroma anywhere. One of my absolute favorite smells (other than waking up to a fresh pot brewing lol) is when you first open a can of Folgers and smell the aroma of fresh grounds. It ranks up right there with fresh cut grass and a freshly bathed, newborn baby!! Unfortunately, over the past year or so the quality has seriously diminished. The aroma coming from the coffee pot while brewing is almost negligible and the grounds in a just opened canister smell identical to the old ones at the bottom of the old canister. I’m not sure if the company has resorted the cheaper quality ingredients or if quality control is just really lacking. Either way, it’s just not the Folgers I grew up on. The fact that Folgers insists on raising prices every few months makes me wonder what exactly I’m being charged extra for. It seems at this point, they’re getting all the “extra” and before long, I’ll be able to get a better cup of coffee at the corner gas station.

Yucky taste and after taste

Quality not the same in the last several years. Bitter nasty taste, noticed that the coffee beans are not uniformly ground. Historically the uniformity of Folgers ground coffee was consistent in granular size, these days there is a lot of coffee bean chunks. May need to change grinding knifes or screen for consistency. Of course quality control definitely wouldn't hurt.

Not drinking this anymore

The coffee tastes strange. It tastes like chicory. I don't like chicory. I just bought 2 big canisters. It's nasty and now I have to find another coffee. There IS chicory in this. Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining

Should I burn my toast too?

Once again an old favorite has over roasted their Classic Medium to an awful Medium Dark and ruined the taste. Your roast master needs a good lashing! It really sucks having to wake up to Burnt ground coffee.
