Taste have changed

I have been a faithful Folgers coffee drinker for decades. It's the only coffee we have purchased since 1985. With that being said, I have noticed that it's not the same Folgers for the last few Cans. I am wondering if you have changed the formula on your Classic Roast. I now have a cup or 2 in the morning where before I would have 4 or 5 cups and also make a pot of coffee 3 to 4 times daily. Not loving it anymore

Not the same coffee

We've been drinking Folgers for 44 years. The last year every can we've bought has a horrible smell and taste. You keep saying you haven't changed anything, but something has changed. I just threw out the last container that we purchased and it will be the last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The coffee taste burnt. I tried two different pit of coffee it had a bad taste to it

Don’t buy unless you want to taste the plastic

Bought this and tastes like burnt plastic. No other coffee tastes like this. Is it the container doing fhis ?

We have been buying this coffee for years. For quite a while I have found it hard to finish just one cup in the morning. So I decided to look at your ingredient list on the label and it says "Coffee". I find it hard to believe that is the only ingredient listed. If there are other ingredients used in the process wouldn't you legally have to list all ingredients? I am in the United States and I just read that some states do not require all ingredients listed on the label. Is this true?

The quality has gone down big time

I used to get up in the morning looking forward to having coffee but lately something is different with it. It’s just not as good or half as good as it used to. The coffee taste like cigarette butts and ashes and no, I do not smoke. They have to be adding something to it because it Same the taste is not rich like it used to be. I’m very disappointed in folders and I’m gonna have to find a different kind of coffee.

Actually Undrinkable Now

Yucky! I used to think Folgers was the best smelling and a pretty good tasting coffee, but I just bought a can and it smelled like chemicals right out of the can, and it tastes like super bitter chemicals. I feel like I'm drinking road tar-flavored water. Not sure what happened, but this seems consistent with all the other recent 1-star reviews.
They must've had an oopsie at the plant and don't want to admit it, or quality control has just gone to pot.

Something seems off

I’ve been a longtime fan over 30yrs of this coffee, but unfortunately, something seems off with the latest batch. The last 4 cans I purchased something don’t seem right. The robust, rich flavor I once loved has noticeably faded. Now it comes across as weak and watered down, with a lingering bitterness that wasn’t there before. Occasionally, when I open the can, there’s a faint, off aroma that hints something in the roasting or packaging process has changed. It’s disappointing to see a favorite coffee lose its signature strength and depth. If you changed the process or added something to it or replaced the beans with a cheaper bean the consumers know. Especially when you are a lifelong Folgers drinker. Very disappointed and unfortunately going to have to switch brands.
