I was doing my usual shopping for Folgers 48 oz Classic Roast and found out the size reduced to 40.3 oz and at higher price. Also, I understand the reasoning was because Folgers found a way to roast beans differently to get more out of less. What??? That means classic is no longer classic but special roast instead. Folgers changes the roast, reduces the size, and charges more. What a disappointment. I hate to but I am changing brands after 50 years. Enough already.

What happened to the Folgers coffee I used to love it doesn't taste any better than a no name brand . Taste and smell are totally different from earlier years. Like dirt. I'm not telling you this to get anything free I just thought you would like to know

No matter what you say,something changed

Been drinking classic for forty years but something changed. Blend percentage? Neither the wife nor I smell the coffee roasting in the morning. Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. If it's a money thing, go back and charge more!

Something has changed. The flavor is now bitter and it smells rancid. On my 2nd container, both were bad. After years of Folgers, I'm looking for a new brand.

I don’t know what happened, but the medium roast coffee I just got tastes like cigarettes. Something definitely changed because I’ve been drinking Folgers since I was a child. Please go back to what we’re used to and I’ll keep drinking it.

Missing my Folgers :(

I've been drinking Folgers for many years. The last few batches have been terrible. It's bitter, clumps up, smells awful, and has zero taste like it use to. Please bring back the old way of doing things. I'm going to have to switch to something else. It's undrinkable.

Great coffee gone bad!

As I read through some the reviews of loyal Folgers coffee drinkers like myself, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't my coffee maker it was just BAD tasting coffee. I too threw out a container of coffee due to bad taste and thought I'll just go purchase another one from another store. Well, same exact taste, BAD! Folgers you have just lost a 30+ year customer. Please inform the customers of your horrible mistake and go back to making great coffee as you have made for so many years prior to this change. Disappointed.
