Folgers is the ONLY coffee we have in our house. Will not even try any other brand. When you've got the best, no need to try the rest.

I buy this every month. I grew up with this coffee and it's what I prefer to drink in the mornings. I've been a loyal fan of Folgers since I was about fifteen. :)

I've bought Folgers for 30+ years, and I myself had a couple of containers smell like burnt plastic,is the best way to put it. Plus the seal was bulging out,and did not make the classic,whoosh, sound when it was pulled back. Now the last ones that I have bought,are back to normal. Something must have happened. Very obvious with so many people saying the same thing!

Bad smell

What is going on with the smell/ taste???....definitely not the best part of waking up. I have had to downgrade to great value coffee. I have wasted so much money trying to figure out what is wrong with my folgers. I even replaced my coffee pot.

Grounds smell fishy

Horrible fishy smell to coffee grounds. Smell makes me gag whenever I open container Tastes awful.

Hate to see me go!

Like many others here on the site, I have been a very long time (years) loyal user of the Folgers brand; that said, I agree with many of these comments; something HAS changed with the Folgers brand. I always buy/drink the Classic Roast and lately it is just not the same cup of coffee/experience. I used to live to wake up to the smell/aroma and the first cup of Folgers to, start my day; that has changed. I am not tasting the difference that I have come to expect. I do not know what changed but I will be re-thinking my use of the brand. It is definitely not what it used to be, and for that, I am very sad. Hate to see me go but I gotta have the best coffee in my cup, and for me, now, today, that is not Folgers.

I have been drinking Folger's coffee since the 1980's when there was but one grind and it came in a steel can. I always loved it as it had a nice clean "bite" to it. My sole wish was that the current iteration was as good as it was earlier. I am a self-avowed coffee snob and have been drinking it straight up and on the strong side since I was a teenager.
