Beautiful Table!
on May 19, 2025

We are happy with the dining room table. It looks very nice and good quality for the price. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it was difficult to assemble with some of the holes not matching up. It came out good in the end but one of the seams is visible on the top. Most people probably wouldn't notice we just notice because it's in our home. The chairs that we bought to go with it however were very easy to assemble and look perfect!

Easily chips

The table is beautiful, but easily chips. Have had it for about a month and already have 3-4 chips in it. I don't have kids and always use placemats and am as careful as can be, but am really disappointed with its durability. We'll see how long it lasts, what a bummer.

Nice solid wood table

Very nice sturdy table. I read other reviews and I think I can explain why they had issues. First of all, make sure you go a step ahead on the instructions. The first diagram shows that you are supposed to attach the planks together first, but that's not accurate. I attached those first and like others, I had issues getting the screws to go into the center beam and had to leave the washers out. That is actually step 1. The center beams need to go together first or your planks (table top) will be uneven. There is plenty of room for the washers if you do that first. Then you attach the planks together. Also, others mentioned splinters and that is accurate, but I think that is due to the wire brush technique. Unfortunately with the black finish it's very noticeable, but I found an easy solution for that. I got one of those stain crayons from the hardware store and colored over it and smoothed it out with a paper towel and you can't see it at all. Just make sure you get the Minwax brand blend/fill pencil (Not the pen) in Ebony Jacobean and the color will blend in perfectly. I really like the wire brush finish. It's really cool and the table is solid and heavy. You won't regret this purchase. You will not find a solid wood table anywhere else at this price. Just know that the company name says it all. The table literally comes in planks and beams and you have to attach everything with a lot of bolts.

Lacking quality

It should be fairly simple to put together, except the holes didn't totally align and the screwed weren't long enough so we had to forego some washers. Additionally, we've had it for one week and there is already a massive split in the wood. I'm bummed, it is a beautiful table, and it's definitely hefty, but not great quality.
