The bed was a much different color than in the picture, the wood is very soft (even for pine) and there is no finish. There is a stain but the wood is very rough and completely matte, no shine at all. Also, three of the joins where you put a screw through two pieces of wood did not line up and I had to re-drill the hole. It's also impossible to assemble without 3-4 people due to the nature of how you go about attaching the two headboards with a long piece. Would not recommend but it does function as a bed and is ok for the price.

OK Quality Wood

From picture online, we thought we’d see much more grain in the stained wood. Also, as we assembled, and felt we were being careful putting together on carpet, we had many edges where pieces of wood came off. We then had to try to get these pieces switched to the back so as not to see the chipped wood

Craftsman needs improvement

Hello,
I assembled the rustic full-size bed and it looks new overall. However, a few pieces of wood had minor damage when I received them. Also, a few of the screw holes made by the manufacturer was flawed, so the screw would not fit properly. Because of this, I drilled a new hole to attach the bed panel correctly and lightly sanded the area. The bed is fully assembled and stable, and the modification is minor.

Additionally, Additionally, the middle bed panel did not have two supports, so I installed two support legs under the center panel to provide better stability. The bed is fully assembled, sturdy, and the modifications are minor. Overall, in my opinion, the product deserves about 3. 5 out of 5 stars.
