Great deal, but you get what you pay for. . .

The slats are very far apart, making the bed feel lumpy. I've learned that it is even more important to have closer slats if you don't have a box spring and a thinner matress is recommended due to the height/guard rails. We have been utlizing the lower bunk and my plan was to reinforce it by adding more planks. Until last night when my 10 year old got on the upper bunk, I saw the bed bow down and it freaked me out to have my 6 year old lay under it. My 8 year old slept up there and it was fine, but a child over 100lbs should be able to sleep on the top bunk without it looking like it is going to cave in from underneath.
It has a nice look, but I will be looking into another bed.

I love Plank and Beam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Plank and Beam products and will continue buying standard bed frames, tables, chairs, benches, etc. because the quality is exceptional for the price. But this is the one product that definitely doesn’t feel sturdy :/ Pretty wobbly and moves a bunch. Won’t be doing any more bunks from here- especially since I use them in rentals.

Extremely pleased with the Queen over Queen Bunk

We had a rough start because of wrong boxes being sent but it was taken care of quickly. The instructions are clear, the materials are great quality, and it was a long but easy set-up. We are extremely pleased with the end result. My husband said that the only thing he could think of to share would be cross bracing on the backside. The top bunk does sway a teeny bit when large people get on the top bunk. Highly recommend this option if you are looking for a queen over queen bunk.

Love this bunk bed. Great quality. I was looking for beds that could support adults guests if/when needed. This is perfect. Will add additional slats to better support the memory foam mattresses I purchased for them.
