Very shaky queen over queen bunk bed

This bed is not sturdy. My grown daughter slept on bottom and 10 year old granddaughter on top. My daughter said every little move from on top could be felt. She said the bed constantly moved/ shook

It was difficult to build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was difficult to build - took 3 people 3 hours. Part of the design is building the top bed and lifting it up and placing on the bottom bed. Need 3-4 people for that. It looks nice. It isn't as sturdy as I would have liked, especially on the top bunk. Overall, fine.

Great beds. Love the size

My kids - 3 boys under the age of 9 - are throughly enjoying their new bunk bed. I managed to out it together mainly by myself - needed some help when stacking the 2 beds together but the process was straight forward. From start to finish probably 3 hrs. While the bed does have some movement, it fells solid and nothing more that to be expected. Happy with the purchase.

It's very nice bed. My only advice is to screw it to the wall as it's a little wobbly on the top bunk. I put 2 screws into two studs on the top bunk head area and this thing is very solid now.

Rustic=unfinished

When they say rustic, they mean unfinished. The wood is rough and snags on sheets and bedding. The fasteners are not well hidden or discrete. I like that the ladder is on the end so it is easy to get in and out of the bottom bunk. The top bunk seems sturdy enough but does move the frame when you move around. Potentially to be expected with a bed this big. I would not purchase again due to the unfinished texture and feel of the wood frame.
