Pretty dresser

I left this dresser a lower review and I wanted to make another review because I feel like I wasn’t fair. At first I was unhappy because I felt like
It didn’t hold a lot. I still feel that way, but overall its a really nice dresser and we ended up using it in our living room to hold misc things rather than for clothes which I needed a bigger dresser for. The 4 stars is because I do wish it was deeper and held more; but overall it’s a really nice piece and made of real wood which is awesome.

Small drawer space

It’s my fault for not doing better research because plank and beam lists the drawers internal dimensions, but when I got this dresser and built it, the drawer space seemed tiny compared to this basic 4 drawer ikea dresser I’m replacing. I looked it up and I guess my 4 drawer IKEA dresser holds 5. 6 cubic feet and this 5 drawer one from plank and beam is only 3. 5 despite it anppearing much larger. I’m so disappointed as the reason I bought a new dresser is because I have a small house and need more clothing storage. Moral of story, don’t see a 5 drawer dresser made of solid wood and think it means it holds a lot. The size is deceiving. I’m going to have to sell it on Facebook marketplace cause it holds less clothes than the one I have now.
Regarding the dresser itself I like how it’s solid wood but if that’s the reason it holds less because the wood takes up a lot of space than I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. Space is valuable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dresser is heavy and matches the bunk bed we bought earlier. The assembly instructions were a real struggle (and we’ve purchased other Plank & Beam items in the past). These were by far the worst. Pack your patience. P&B does not use any verbiage in their instructions and the pictures on this particular item require real scrutiny. We ended up taking it apart halfway through and re-doing it. Took over 3 hours.

Very difficult to put together.

I ended up finding what I truly wanted at an upscale consignment store. 100% nicer and now I just have to get rid of the pice of junk I bought from you people.

Good price, assembly challenging

The is a good quality dresser for the price. However, assembly is challenging. The drawers were easy to assemble. Connecting the back panels to the sides was difficult. You'll definitely need two able bodied people. The box is extremely heavy so I took the pieces out separately and took them to the place where we I assembled the dresser. Be careful with the green tabs on the sides of the back panel that connects to the side panel. The cutouts were too deep, and the the green tab pushed in too far. There was barely enough room to slide it into the slot on the side panel. It would have been easier to screw in nails instead of the configuration they have.
