The dresser and nightstand arrived

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dresser and nightstand arrived on time and they were packed very well. I was a little disappointed in the finish, it doesn’t look quite like the photos, but it’s OK. The assembly instructions could’ve been a little clearer, there is one drawing that is inaccurate when showing how to attach the top to the center vertical piece. The drawing has the brackets and screws going in the wrong side. Since the pre-drilled holes didn’t line up, I was able to figure it out. I’m a 73 year old woman and I’ve assembled other larger furniture pieces (bookshelves and 2 credenzas) so I kind of know what to look for in the instructions . The dresser took me about 7 hours to put together with minimal help. The handles are difficult to screw into the drawer fronts since there are no pre-drilled holes. The tiny black screws are difficult to hold in place while screwing them in. So because of this, 2 of them are not exactly where they should be, lined up in the cut out sections on the drawer fronts and are a little loose. Finally, when I got the last drawer in place, I saw a crack on the front of the drawer. None of them were cracked when I unboxed them, so not sure what happened there. The wood is very soft and I’m glad there aren’t any children in my house, since just putting it together caused a few scratches and scuffs. I am replacing older pine furniture that was actually quite a bit harder than this, so I’ll see how this lasts. I made the purchase to update my bedroom with mid-century style furniture, so I like the style, just hoped it was a little better quality.

Decent. Decent construction: more pressboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent. Decent construction: more pressboard than I would like but it is solid. Could use better hardwood and rails but it is fine. Assembly was way too complicated. No reason this isn't an interlocking design like competitors. I would look elsewhere before buying here for those reasons. But it is solid and will serve its purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dresser! Looks good, very sturdy, smells good. Only gripe is some drawers don’t sit flush so I had to move them around to find the best fit. Not sure if that was a design choice or if I missed that in the instructions. Nothing overly bad, but I have OCD so it bothered me. Building it was involved, but I completed it alone—having a drill would help.
I got Pecan, and the color is very close to the image. Customer reviews helped too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dresser is beautiful - certainly a two person job to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and it was well worth the ~2 hours. It’s solid, well crafted and only the beginning of an entirely new bedroom set!
