Falls apart immediately

I know furniture isn't made to last these days but I would've hoped it could at least survive past assembly. The mechanism by which the base attaches to the top (where you're screwing into) is just hammered in and pops out of the socket pretty fast. Unfortunately there's no real way to secure it as this is an obvious design flaw. Picture from the instructions provided show the part that's just tamped in, not actually fastened. Avoid if you can.

Love it!!! Just received and put together myself. Had no problems with the instructions and putting together was relatively easy even by myself. Just take your time on the “spindels” around the base —- you will get it just take your time. It probably took me 45 minutes to put together snd its solid and sturdy! A perfect size for my small space.

Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle

Such a beautiful table yet understand what you’re getting with this design. As it’s essentially a pedestal it has loads of wiggle and sway. Unsure what to do about it without intruding on the look of slats.
Wood is solid with a gorgeous finish (blonde) but it is soft and received scratches or small trailing dents rather, post first use.
Will be looking for an alternative as I don’t see this lasting in even this solo person household
