Highly Recommend

Ordered while the bed was backordered, but the backorder period was incredibly short and the bed was at our door before we were even home from vacation. Build did require two people for stability; overall it was pretty simple to put together and took a little over 90 minutes. The bed feels incredibly strong, no squeaking or other noise, no wobbling. My husband and I are probably a little over 500lbs combined and the bed feels really solid.

Love the bed! We have a non traditional setup in the bedroom with the headboard exposed, and it's beautiful on all sides!

Buy this bed!

This was an excellent purchase! My husband snd I put it together and marveled at how well it was constructed; pre drilled holes were perfect, parts were identified with #s, even the slats were connected with webbing and then screwed into the frame. It was a solid frame when it was together! I will buy more from this company. Our only wish was for some words in the directions. We put the board that connects to the middle beam on backwards bec we did not see the small screw holes, so had to go back.

Headboard is MDF, not solid wood

The bed went together easily until we got to the last steps with the metal bar down the center. There was no pre-drilled holes for screws, no marks and no measurements in the instructions. If the metal bar was too high, the slats wouldn't lay flat, too low and the slats wouldn't be supported. We finally ignored the instructions and put the legs on the bar to help support it while we figured out where it went. The provided slats have 10 inch spacing. The mattress company we used recommended 3 inches or less for best sleep and longevity of the mattress. We had to make an additional 6 slats. The headboard is made out of MDF. It is not solid wood. The pecan finish on the headboard does not look like wood. It makes an acceptable place to sleep and feels sturdy, but I wonder if the MDF will off-gas.
