This product is so hard to sharpen and when you finally sharpen a little bit of it,it breaks and you get so frustrated and at school when you are about to colour the pencil crayon just breaks so i do not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

best value crayons I've found!

I've been using these for the past 5 years. Whilst I agree the lead snaps a bit easy, I'd suggest using a large sharpener which leaves a lower angle of point on the pencil tip - gives more strength! But for the price I'm extremely please with the range of colours and vibrancy, which works perfectly with my art style. Being a professional illustrator, I'm happy! Especially with the price tag

I am hoping that they're metallic colors in the collection that is what i really need most,
since your not selling the 8 pak of metallic colors anymore i guess i had to go with these.

SMOOTH WRITING

I am giving a 3 star because these pencils actually write on paper. I am in education and I want a colored pencil for my planner and notes etc. I purchased the "sister" product to these pencils; the ones that erase and they are for coloring. I have to bear down so hard for them to write on paper; it is like the lead in this product was meant to be on the erasable pencil and vice versa. A factory mix-up. If Crayola would switch the lead between these 2 products they would have a product of gold. So now I have to use these with no eraser and hope I make no mistakes. I thought that companies used focus groups to test products before they go to market? If so where do I sign up because this product was not tested properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Get prismacolor instead

Prismacolor is a much better pencil it may be a little pricey but it gets the job done much better than Crayola.
