Our coffee makers brew at approximately 200°F; however, the temperature naturally decreases when the water comes into contact with the coffee grounds and the surrounding environment. The brewing process is intentionally designed to allow the coffee to bloom and extract optimal flavor, resulting in a well-balanced cup of coffee.

This first cup is great but the second one tasted burnt. I was sad because I have the bigger one with a thermal carafe which I really like. I just wanted a smaller on my counter. I would have returned but had already thrown away the box.

It works as advertised. Very simple design, well thought out and prepares two good sized cups of coffee. Every coffee maker on the market measures a cup of coffee as 5 ounces. In my home one mug is about 12 ounces. This coffee maker makes 5/5 ounce servings which is perfect for us at home as we do not drink a full pot of coffee each day. It is easy to use and easy to clean. If and when I wear this one out I will definitely re-order another.
