[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Lenovo Yoga 7 2in1 in March 2024. Last month (December 2026), the right-side hinge DETACHED from the frame's housing--the "flap" portion of the hinge uses some sort of adhesive to glue it to the laptop's back panel. Because the hinge pulled off/became dislodged, I can no longer close my laptop without causing further damage--also, I cannoy use its capabilities (flipping the screen to use as a notepad, etc.). Because of the "broken" hinge, additional damage was caused---I now have a 3.5" CRACK in the laptop's bottom right portion of screen (location of the defective hinge).
I have had many laptops throughout the years that have lasted over 6 or 7 years (some LONGER)---I buy newer models purely to obtain an upgraded system. I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED that this laptop is rendered almost useless because I cannot use the full functionality of the 2 in 1 option.
This Yoga7 2in1 BROKE in only 1 year, 10 months. I will certainly NOT buy another one like it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
