I bought this coffee because it is a favorite of mine. I had tried a sample pack awhile back and I got hooked on the taste and strong flavor of the coffee. I highly recommend this brand of coffee if u want to wake u up in the morning.

I've been trying the stronger roasts of k-cups and this one is it for me. No more going to the coffee shop. If you like the stronger blends try this one , you won't be disappointed!
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste

Those who desire a large level of caffeine and a decided coffee taste for the remainder of the morning should reach for this option: anyone wanting to go to sleep before 3am or kiss their mate before tomorrow should go elsewhere. But.....that's the opinion of a person not "devoted" to the coffee experience. I must add - as required by your forum - that I was sent four "samples" from this brand, unsolicited, to taste and evaluate. I was equally unhappy with all four.

Cons: Strong, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste, Bitter taste

We have been buying our coffee from Keurig from years!! The French Roast has always been our favorite!! We always keep an ample on hand, but occasionally we'll purchase a sample pack of other brands/flavors. Always come back to the French Roast!!

Like all K-cups this is best on no more than the middle cup. Not enough coffee in a K-cup to make a large cup of coffee without getting all the bitter taste at the thin end.

I love this coffee,slap you in the face strong yet very smooth.
Not burnt tasting like many dark roasts.

Used to be great - now dishwater

Courtesy of my employer, I've been drinking 2-3 Barista Prima French Roast pods each workday for the last 5 years. This used to be uniformly a great French Roast experience that we looked forward to, but quality and or quality control has been slipping steadily for the last 2 years. It used to be very rare to get a "dud" pod (weak tasteless brown water), but it is now to the point where "duds" are more frequent than the expected product. I had 3 in a row today. I will have to start bringing in my own REAL FRENCH ROAST coffee, if I want any kind of satisfaction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
