The double oven feature makes cooking and/or baking for family dinners a breeze. The fifth oblong burner is great for larger pots and handy for canning. Easy to clean.

I must admit, when my 12 year old range stopped working, I was reluctant to find a new one. So many to choose from. Then I saw the Whirlpool Gold range with two ovens (one convection), five burners, and an elegant design. It has inspired me to cook again, instead of relying on carryout pizza and microwave meals. I love the two ovens. The top one is small--just right for a cookie sheet or for warming plates with the warming feature. I use it more than I ever used my old oven because it heats fast, uses less energy and bakes evenly. I used both ovens this past Easter so I could bake a ham in the large oven and bake side dishes in the smaller oven at different temperatures--so much better than juggling pans in and out of the single oven I used to have. The burners are super fast for boiling water and sensitive enough for gentle simmering. I'm dusting off my cookbooks!

I love the option to heat just the top portion of the oven to save energy. It's great for one dish meals or just one sheet of cookies:)

Don't buy if your looking for a self-cleaning stove

I used the self-cleaning option for the first. It's the worse design ever.You put water in the bottom of the oven and then later you need to clean that out when it's done cleaning. The oven isn't clean. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
