So thin and light but very smooth and responsive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the HP Omnibook 5 for my son who's going to university soon and after setting up and using it for a bit I am over the moon with it.
The machine itself is light, thin and easily portable which will be perfect to take around uni, but it seems so smooth and responsive to use.
It was chucking options and capabilities at me on set up that I never knew existed but when I read about them I was amazed at what it can do.
The extended battery life will be amazing for him as well as it means it can easily be taken to lectures without the need for the charger and can be easily put in a sleeve to go neatly in a backpack.
Needless to say I am extremely happy with this laptop.

Excellent and worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed! My son started his A-Levels and wanted a reliable device that would not let him down, be fast and not glitch in between his tasks. Well, a great choice! He is fully satisfied and says it’s so fast that no other laptop can beat it! Being a gamer too, he loves the performance and display quality, and most of all, the battery line is amazing!!!! He studies, plays, watches his shows and still so much life is left before he puts it on charge. Would say, highly recommended.

Very efficient and easy to carry laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HP Omnibook 5 AI laptop works really well and very fast. The laptop comes with amazing features and it’s handy and easy to carry. The screen is perfect to work on and gives the best screen time. The battery works for hours and hours before they had to be recharged. No heating after continuous usage. The laptops durability is amazing and works so smoothly. It’s newly AI laptop and I’m really fascinated with its amazing features makes my work and life so easy to complete. Very handy and very useful laptop.

Good for students and home users

Nice little laptop which is going to be used for homework and admin rather than anything heavy, although it probably could handle gaming. It was so easy to set up and is quite intuitive. Everything runs pretty quickly and the keyboard keys have a good feel to them. It’s lightweight and great for portability. The display is perfect and the sound clear. It has two usb/c ports and one regular usb, as well as a headphone jack. It charges quickly via usb/c and it holds its battery well (although I’m using it for activities that don’t require much power so can’t comment on battery life with gaming). My only one gripe is that I find the touch pad not as sensitive as what I am used to so I will probably get a mouse for it. Overall 4 stars.

We hear you on the touchpad sensitivity- everyone has a different preference when it comes to "feel," so grabbing a mouse sounds like a cracking idea to make your setup even more comfortable. Or, if you want to adjust those touchpad settings.

Great laptop for home and school use.

Fast and responsive laptop

This laptop is small and light but still pleasantly large enough. It was easy to set up by following the onscreen instructions. It loads really quickly too! You can set up log in via password or face recognition. The screen is bright and colourful. The keyboard keys are large but securely imbedded. Microsoft Office software is included but it is basic. There is also co pilot ai which helps with searches, constructing emails and other documents. It came fully charged and I’ve only had to charge it once so far which was quite quick, 20-85% in 30 minutes.
I have found it very different from previous Windows operating systems. Rather than programs there are apps which have taken some getting use to. More like a crossover of mobile devices and traditional computers.
I did struggle to set up my gmail/outlook (more tricky) email accounts but managed to find a way around it so I can access them both.
My one disappointment was that there was only one USB A port. Luckily, I already had a USB A hub I could use.
Overall, I’ve been really impressed so far. Still lots more to explore on it when I get the time.

Good all rounder laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is very sleek, I wasn't sure whether the 14-inch screen was big enough for what I wanted to do (gaming) but it is more than sufficient. Gaming takes a lot of RAM however it has been smooth and the processor is really fast, without any glitching unlike previous laptops. Haven't used video call so cannot talk about the camera, however the copilot key has made accessing AI, so simple and it's excellent and really fast. I don't like that this laptop is not touchscreen, has no keyboard backlight nor a fingerprint button and the battery should be better compared to what is advertised. However, altogether this is a really good laptop.
