Haven't used the barrel but it doesn't look up to the IGLOO standards I'm used to. The lettering in the front is faded and will likely rub off after the first wash. The handle has know type section that seem to be to keep the cover tight on the barrel, however, the knobs are the same material as the handle and are so tight that every time you lift the handle to "lock" the cover the knobs scrape against the cover and this wears the knobs down. Unsure how long these knobs will last until they're so worn down that they won't help in keeping the cover tight and/or likely have indentations on the cover where the knobs scrape it. Thinking about returning it.

Bought this for my 90s bday party and also just to have since it's so cute. Shipping was super fast! Ordered it on a Thursday evening and received it that Saturday! Only complaint I have is when I received it I noticed ablemish on it. You can see it in the picture there is yellow paint where it was taped off ro spray the logo. Little sad it isn't on perfect condition, but love it too much to send it back and wait for another.
