[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 for my Web Development course, and it’s been amazing. It’s super lightweight but still feels really solid and premium. I’ve been using it for VirtualBox, Kali Linux, and all my security tools, and there are no issues at all, which is a big relief compared to classmates using Macs. The keyboard is super comfortable for long coding sessions, and the battery life easily lasts through a full school day. I also love that it has all the ports I need, so no dongles. Overall, it’s been the perfect laptop for my classes, reliable, fast, and ready for anything my course throws at me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did my homework on this one. Fast. Light. Durable. A premium laptop at a premium price. I bought the model with 32GB ram and 2TB SSD. Everybody raves about the OLED screen and now I know why. The blacks are BLACK! Colors are rich.. The keyboard is a joy. Speakers are very good. Webcam is much improved. If you are thinking that I like this laptop you would be correct! Lenovo matched the price offered by a major Canadian retailer. Kudos for that. Do I recommend you check out this laptop? Absolutely!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is fast and start up is quick. Still getting to understand the new functions I didn’t have before but will take some time. SSD 2 TB storage is great. Was missing my built in DVD burner from my old Lenovo but purchased an aftermarket one so everything should be fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving from a Thinkpad X! Carbon Gen7 to Gen13, I am quite happy with the upgrade. Form factor, battery life/power management, built quality are top notch. Embossed logo gets dirty quickly; raised bar on bottom back not as convenient as having 2 raised "feet", one in each back corner. Overall speed doesn't seems that much faster, but only used it for 2-3 weeks, have yet to fully exploit performance upgrade.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition is a superb laptop! It is powerful, it is fast and it is super light on top of it. The PCIe 5 hard drive is ultra quick with over 13Gb/s on sequential reads and 9 Gb/s on sequential writes as per CrystalDiskMark 8. The battery lasts a long time, although I'm not sure it would last 12-14 hours. I bought the ThinkPad Universal USB-C dock so I can easily connect my two 27-inch monitors with only one single USB-C cable to hook or unhook. My only negative comment would be that the screen is not a touch screen. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this laptop. Although it’s on the pricier side, it’s packed with the latest specs. The 32GB of memory is more than enough for multitasking, and the Intel Core Ultra 7 makes all apps run smoothly with no glitches. I love how light and portable it is, making it easy to carry around. Connecting peripherals like external monitors, wireless keyboards/mice, headphones, etc., is seamless. I haven’t tried the AI feature yet, but it’s spec’d to handle this technology very well. The battery life is decent, and the monitor quality is great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this laptop.
