an excellent laptop which is ruined by the choice of replacing right control key with a fingerprint bump. remapping the useless copilot key is not a good substitute: it ruins my finger placement on other keyboards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my new ThinkPad for a couple of weeks, but I've already used it for everything from writing work documents to creating and printing high school booster club materials to enjoying my son's baseball videos. I love the look and feel of this laptop, and it is so lightweight! It was so easy to transition from my old laptop and get everything set up. I was a little worried that I should have gone with a larger screen, but the size and clarity are perfect for what I need, and I have a second monitor for specific tasks. I am still learning all of the new/new-to-me features, but the phone link app might be my favorite so far. So helpful to be able to access text messages, e.g., confirmation codes, nice to scroll through photos, etc. directly from my ThinkPad.

I absolutely love this laptop. It's unbelievably light, yet there has been no significant compromise on its performance. It's admittedly expensive, but Lenovo has built a laptop that is quick, responsive, and has a good mix of ports. The optional GaN charger is also noticeably slimmer than power adapters I've used in the past, and the high end Lenovo dock works very well to make it a desktop replacement.
