[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's lightning fast, and can handle as many tasks at once as I can give it. With the Thinkpad docking station I was able to completely replace my desktop, so I can actually work anywhere. Seamlessly incorporates three monitors. Fingerprint sign-on works great, many security features, and integrated AI. Also has some cool features, like being able to swipe pictures from your phone onto your laptop.

Steady Stream of New X1s continues to set the bar

So far so good. Love everything but have not tested battery power. That's the big one. Screen is noticeably improved and brighter. Only disappointment is the HDMI port on prior generations was on the left, all of a sudden it's on the right. So my entire pre-designed tangle of cables on my desk had to be rearranged. On the bright side, transitioning PCs was a breeze. I literally did virtually nothing but press "go" and a few hours later my new X1 looked exactly like the previous one, except of course the hardware. This was a long awaited EPIC improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very good computer. It's light, fast and comfortable. Great for work, programming and design. Without any problems with Photoshop, Adobe Iliustrator, phpStorm and Android Studio. The battery lasts quite a long time. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the X1 Carbon Gen 13 for two full months. I use this machine every day for work, and I am blown away with it's performance. Boot up time is lighting fast when compared to my previous computers and tablets. I spend about 75% of my time working offsite, mostly in my truck, this computer is hands down better than the previous 3 other computers that I have had in 5 years. I am able to run CAD software, the full MSFT suite and still not bog down. I recently purchased the Lenovo additional screen, game changer. I am most impressed with the how efficiently the computer runs with very little heat, and how light and comfortable it is to work on. The keyboard is amazing. I would be hard pressed to ever buy another brand of computer. I have been working in a corporate setting since 2000, and have had my own practice for the past few years.

Flawless for everyday, low-processing-power demand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have serious processing demands, since I primarily use this to remote into a different machine for work. The reason I purchased such an expensive laptop was because I want it "future-proofed." In all my uses so far, it's been a great computer. No complaints yet about loud fan noise.

Fantastic Lightweight Computer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this computer in various locations. It's lightweight makes this very easy. The battery lasts long enough for me to complete many tasks. All of my software works smoothly because of the 32 GB of memory. The large hard drive allows me to keep all my files locally. The WiFi network card allows large amounts of data to be synchronized very quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's really good. It should be- it's kinda pricey. You are probably looking for what my issues are (that what I wanted to know before I bought it). So, my "issues" are really just 2 things. Often, it acts like I've got the mouse "on". It will drag something somewhere, or start highlighting things. Maybe I just put off a lot of heat, but I'm not touching the pad? There may be a setting for this, but I haven't looked and it can get annoying. The second thing is that it will occasionally tell me that I have no internet when I'm at home and I have to reboot it to connect.
