[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this laptop for a couple of months. It is an excellent machine. I use it for spreadsheets and web apps mostly. Performance is fast. It is light weight so don't lose track of it in a pile of papers!
Only improvement is a better way to open it. The screen is lightweight, the computer is lightweight, so it takes two hands to open. Otherwise you'll just flip it over. A pressure latch that would pop the screen up a bit when pressed down would be a good addition.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good machine but I have had some problems with this one I never had with my prior X1 carbon that I had for several years so many not manufactured with the same durability. For example, one USB port is not working and the machine is only a few months old.

I love my new laptop. A light weight laptop was a must for me, and this one is perfect. The keyboard feels great to the touch too. I'm very happy all around.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura edition for a few weeks. My 5th X1 Carbon purchase and the best yet for sure. Speed of Ultra 7 and the standard graphics are awesome. Weight and feel are top of the line. Beautiful machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the whole I am pleased with the computer, except for one major problem. I have two external monitors with touchscreens. When I purchased this computer, I asked about the touchscreen model, which would have been a downgrade to a touchscreen from the preconfigured model, but since the cost was about $1,000 to do so, I accepted the non-touchscreen preconfigured model. I figured that all I would lose was the touchscreen on the PC, and no one told me otherwise. It was only after I installed the new computer that I learned that my extrenal monitor touchscreens also will not work if the main PC does not have a touchscreen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really thin and light with great keyboard and sharp screen. Much prefer to my Dell XPS. Just wish it had a mini usb on each side instead of 2 together on one side. Still best laptop ever.
